Live Webcast Setup
If you plan on viewing the webcast, we suggest you prepare by making sure your computer has the necessary software. There are three steps to view the webcast:
Step 1: Get the Quicktime Player and/or Plugin
The stream is broadcast using Quicktime technology. You should download the latest player for your operating system even if you already have Quicktime installed. This should prevent any compatibility issues.
Step 2: Check your connection
A faster connection works best for streaming video online. A Cable, DSL, ADSL or T1 connection, or a network connected to one of these such as an office or home network, is recommended. Those using dial-up connections such as AOL or NetZero will likely get average to poor quality, and may loose the connection at random times. This is out of our control, owing to the nature of the Internet, streaming media, and slower connections.
Step 3: Test your setup
Go to the Apple Movie Trailer site at http://www.apple.com/trailers/ and watch one of the trailers. If you have no problems, then you are set to watch the webcast.
Step 4: View the Webcast
Watch it in Your Web Browser
